Crazylover is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThank you so much. I have been let down by many people in my life.. my biological dad abused me and my step dad lost the rights to see me due to drugs. I just get scared and worried.......

Some people bottle up all their emotions and never show how they are truly feeling, its like alot of guy's put a tough macho image. I think that he let himself go and revealed his true self to you, and i think that is really great. So believe he loves you, i think it takes more of a man to show his true emotions like that, than one who hides them away, i think you have got a good one there.
Good luck x

First off why do you not believe him in the first place? If he is telling you something you should believe him unless you have a reason not to. It sounds to me like this guy is genuine so just enjoy his company and dont overthink to much.
