reader, anonymous, writes (13 November 2007): why don't you google some sites where they show normal vagina's, maybe you can spot one that is like yours. i think you should be normal... but then again i'm not a doctor. but, just like breasts, vagina's can vary in their images.

 No, it's normal. The inner labia can vary from pink to brownish black depending on the woman's skin color. You say your skin is light, but the inner labia, like the nipples can change color as the woman matures. I think you're okay and have nothing to worry about. However, if you still have anxiety about the color, you can always ask your doctor next time you go to see him/her for your check up.
