This is at best childish, but it seems like there may be more to it. I have seen him spot people (men) squatting during weight lifting, and he will press himself - at crotch level - up against them to get them to lift the weight. All his jokes and comments seem to make fun of the gay community - but I wonder if there is more to this pre occupation - and thoughts?

reader, anonymous, writes (30 January 2009): He seems to have an anal obsession. I don't know if I'd drop him but if he makes you uncomfortable maybe ask him to ease off on the ass references. He probably is bi-curious but as long as he respects your boundaries it's no reason to end the friendship.

I have to say that he is acting odd, but then it could be just a huge joke to him. It could also be that he can see that it's making you uncomfortable, and finds it funny.
If you dont like the way he talks to you or the things he says to others, then drop him as a mate. Because a true friend would not make you feel like this.
