We told our families and they are so happy and thrilled, except my dad I felt he wasn't very happy. My husband says my father is happy but just needs time to think and that he still sees me as his little girl. Is there something I can do make my father feel good about it? Your father will probably come around in time. Just give him time to accept it and when your baby comes I'm sure he'll be a VERY proud grandfather. I don't think you should try to force anything on him, just be the same around him as you are with anyone else. I don't think he's unhappy, but he probably just needs some time to take everything in.

spend more time with him and tell him the benefits about being a grandfather. tell him that when the child is born he will feel proud of him/her and then IT can be his little girl/boy..
it will take him time to get used to it, like it should with anyone, but he wont regret it :)
