writes:I like this guy. I heard that he sort of likes me. My crush does things to be near me and grasp my attention. He even stares at me. I asked him if he has a girlfriend -his response was sort of-, he then asked me if I had a boyfriend and I obviously said "no". My crush ignores my phone calls and answers my text messages sometimes. My best friend tells me he probably is too busy to answer my calls or texts because he is a basketball player. Another thing my best friend said is he is probably too scared to ask me out because he is a 17 year old junior and I am a 14 year old freshman. Does my crush like me or not?

im in the same situation. im 17. um yea that age thing is big. he probably most likely does like you but the age is big.

 He will be 18 in a little while and that could make things hairy for him. He might be a little put off by the age only due to inconvenience. He may really like you, but there are a lot of factors for him to think about...including your father. Thats a big one. I would talk to him about his availability and thoughts on the matter of your age. Then you might want to discuss it with your parents...probably once he has his foot in the door, for dinner or something.

 Like yummymummy said i would clarify whether he is single or not. If he is ask tell him how you feel as its betta than keeping it bottled up. As for he age difference if he does like you it wont matter

 He may also be busy with the "sort of" girlfriend he has. I would find out if he is definetly single and then go from there.
