 Well it sounds like he is trying to tell you he likes you without making a fool of himself. Do you like him? Do you think that a relationship between the two of you could work or is he a lot older than you. You need to figure out how you feel about him and what you want and then tell him so that he knows where he stands with you. Also he is your brothers friend so yes this could be awkward. But also it might be a comfort to your brother that you are with someone who he can trust. If you like him then go for it, you are an adult so it is up to you!
