writes:im 14, and my boyfriends 17.. we've been going out for a week, but it wasnt expected cos he doesnt usually have girlfriends, and i didnt think he liked me. we used to hold and hands and stuff, and now were together its just the same. he acts different with me around his friends, as if hes ashamed or something because hes older than me. the past couple of days, ive just felt awkward, and we still havent kissed. i dont know what to do? or if he actually wants to kiss me?  hes 17 and your 14,age doesnt matter to me but because he's older he could be scared,coz he doesnt know how to deal with you,he might think if he makes the wrong move you'd end it,and thats probably why he acts weird around his friends,he's not gonna kiss you infront off them coz of the age,but he neeeds to know,age doesnt matter its just a number,and if you and him love each other,then nothing should get in the way :) x

 He could not have kissed you yet because he might be worried in case that isn't what you want.
As for the acting differently around his friends part, maybe you could talk to him about it?
If he keeps treating you like this, he isn't worth it.

 the real answer here is to dump him, if a guy really liked you plus you guys are dating he would have been kissed you and no it cant be because he's shy if he was so shy he wouldnt act diffrent towards you when he's with his friends, find someone closer to your age range who will appreiciate you
