This is a love poll. I am having a break from my 3 year boyfriend. I don't know why but they say men take longer to miss their woman then the other way around.

Is this true? And when do you think the amount you miss someone peaks? today is day 15 and it is my worst so far.

It's a matter of whose idea the break was, who likes the other more, who has other romantic options lined up, who is simply busier with their everyday life, etc. If he just went on a date with a girl he likes a lot, he's probably not missing you very much at all. But if he's got nothing going for you, he probably misses you a whole bunch. No way of knowing.

LLindy87 agony auntI don't think it has anything to do with gender at all. I think it has to do with who was more into the relationship then the other, who did the breaking up and their individual personality.

I've missed guys more then they've missed me before and then again other guys I've not missed at all yet they have told me that they miss me like crazy, it totally depends on the person and their relationship. Every relationship is different.

Cerberus_Raphael agony auntPersonally, I don't think gender matters, it varies from person to person and it also depends on how close you two actually were. If he was a caring partner then he would most likely be missing you already, if he always seemed slightly distant, I don't think he'd miss you all that much.

I hope that helps.
