Question - (13 January 2010) 2 Answers - (Newest, 13 January 2010)
A male United States age 30-35, *lovethisgirl writes:

I'm in a kind of wierd relationship atm, i'm 16 and my girlfriend is 23 (just turned), we've been fighting over alot of silly things lately and we've had to repair our relationship multiple times recently. first a quick background

I met this girl in about may of last year, we started dateing soon after and I visited her in her hometown for this christmas, when I got home the relationship got so hard, we both miss eachother so much and can't stand being apart, but sadly I have to finish school before we can be together. before I went out there we still had our silly fights that every relationship has but they were ended very fast, now our fights last much longer and seem much more serious. She knows I care about her so so much and she's infact said she knows noone else will care about her to the same extent but she says I don't make her laugh and I don't do the small things that make her feel special, sadly and patheticly I thought I did do those so my questions are

What are those small things? Any ideas?

I know I want to be with this girl for a very long time and I need to find someway to make it work until I go back out there this may so that I can remind her how much I care about her, how can I do that?

Does it sound like our relationship is steady? It doesn't to me but maybe i'm just being negative (we talk from 11pm-6am everyday and sadly that's it due to outside problems on both of our parts)

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (13 January 2010):

Maybe if you see her, buy her flowers. Send her a sudden text telling her you adore her. Lots of compliments, but keep them real (tell her she's beautiful, don't write a poem about it). Talk to her about herself, listen to what she has to say and remember everything you can. If she feels important to you, she'll feel better.

A rose prepared before dating....That will make a lot different...
