writes:Theres a man Ive liked for over 4 years now (I got talking to him more after I'd split up with my ex)and we became really flirty and really good friends with eachother (over the internet). Last year, we finally met up with eachother. The first time he took me out for dinner, the second time he invited me over for a few days, he paid for dinner and the movies. He held my hand round the city, had his arms around me when we were snuggling on the sofa, and I don't think I've been kissed so much in my life. He intiated everything, as I wanted to not be too keen, and to see if he really did like me. The third time he stayed round mine for a few days, we were acting like we were a couple... and eventually we ended up having sex, but everything was cool afterwards!! I'm seeing him again later on this month, going to stay round his again. Whenever we talk we're still flirty, and he's really sweet to me and stuff..but we do have quite 'teasing' conversations sometimes. Everytime I talk to him I'm so happy, I just love him to bits.He has such a romantic side, and my feelings have grown so strong for him (Ive told him how I think he's amazing and such a nice guy). We were talking a few weeks ago about my move south (with a job I got accepted for, which would have been 30 minutes from him) and then he said that 'it was a shame' because he was moving north in the fall to go into the army, as he's already been accepted. As he was telling me this over the internet, I started to cry. I know he isnt going yet, but everyday, and every month that goes by the closer he is to going. For me, it feels like the situation with my ex, I knew he was going to College, I didn't want to and was dreading the day that he did, and when he did I felt a big part of me go with him.. and now it feels like it's happening to me again with this new guy who I don't see a lot. I know he has his heart set on it, so I'm not going to change anything now. I know we're not even together, but he's just become part of me in the past few years, and I love him to bits. He doesn't seem the kinda guy that could have a long distance relationship, I feel he needs to be with someone who he's going out with.. (probably why we haven't progressed to a relationship)I know the more I see him the more attached to him I'm going to get, and the more upset I'm going to be. I just, I don't know. I just love being with him. He's a perfect guy to me, and something I've always wished for in a boyfriend. It's just a shame with the circumstances and him wanting a job in the forces. I really don't know what to do, do any of you have any suggestions?Does it sound like he actually likes me? Or is he just using me for sex?I'm so confused right now.
