A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Am i reading into this too much, or do you think my advisor is attracted to me ?. I am on a course that i have to go to every couple of weeks, as my advisor is helping me to look for a job. Every time I go there he says " bye sweetheart " when i'm leaving, and last time i went there, he asked how old i was ( he must have forgotten ) and when i told him how old i was he said " you look so young ! " , and he asked me if i was married and had kids, and when i said no, he asked if i had a boyfriend, and i said no. He then said " no ?! " in a surprised way. The thing is, he once told me that he had a girlfriend, but i know you can be attracted to other people even if you are already with someone. It's strange though, as, i feel kind of flattered, but at the same time, i feel as though i might not feel comfortable seeing him again. What do you think ?.

Danielepew agony auntHe might like you but then he might not act on it.

If you don't feel comfortable seeing him again, don't see him again. That should be the end of it, whether he meant nothing, or meant more.
