When we met, our eyes locked, we smiled, exchanged glances and got along well. A month later, he calls me out of the blue stating he was "just calling" to ask me a question about a case and to call him back at either his work or Nextel. He does not even tell me what department he is from (odd). I think he called me back to back twice before leaving a voicemail because it was an outside call nad gave up. I called him back the next morning and left a brief message returning his call with my call back number. He calls back 10 minutes later stating he missed me and will try back later and then he said that he will be "in the office all...in and out of the office most of the day, I will try you back later and you can do the same as well." I thought that was weird. I called back and he was happy we touched base and when we discussed a case and I asked about the info on the case, he did not know. He said he would find out. I was shocked because he should know. The first thing that came to mind was that this was his excuse in a work related environment to talk to me. Whenever I gave him info and explained, it was dead silence before he started talking. Is he crushing over me?

It really is a hard one to tell. Yes you are right he did make a huge effort to try and contact you, so yes there is a chance that he might have liked you when he saw you and he wanted a reason to contact you, I guess you will just need to wait and see how this works out. After some time things should become clearer if it is totally work related or not.
