Like PsyCookie says it could just be the way he kisses, on the ohter hand he could be doing that to let you know he wants to french kiss. The next time you are doing this just come out with it and ask him.

My boyfriend has always kissed me like that, and he doesn't even notice. But I like it ;)
But you could ask him if he wants to french kiss. If you feel he will think you're weird for asking, then do not fear as he probably will get happy by you asking this kind of question. He will probably be exited and do it at the moment.
