Ok there is this guy that i like. Recently i found out by his friend that he just wants to be friends cuz his friend asked him if he liked me.

Well anyways im fine with that. Well i asked him if he wants to hangout sometime and he said yea just give me a call whenever and i said ok. Well he starting asking me what i would want to do and i said it doesnt matter to me and he said yea it does matter and i said no it doesnt to me and he said ok. Then he got quiet for a moment then he says im thinking about going to a resturant and i said ok then he said a really nice resturant and i said ok then he starting telling me about this resturant and from what he told me and from what i see on the webpage its really really nice and fancy. Here's the site if you want to see what it is:

www.shakespearesrestaurant.com

Anyways my question is if he just wants to be friends then why would he want to take me to such a nice place. I asked my mom and she thinks that he likes me but i dont know. The whole thing with him just wanting to be friends makes me wonder becuz im starting to think friends dont take friends out to nice resturants.

I dont know what do you guys think?

I think you ought to have some response in mind when the guy asks you what you want to do. Nothing worse than the "I dont know...." At least throw out some ideas...

The Shakespeare looks like kind of a destination place- so it is plausible that he'd just like someone to go with (WARNING- the better the view the worse the food).

However you are off to the races with a relationship with him. I'd order the Prime Rib and the Pumpkin soup and if you guys go on Friday you can see in the Pub:

~ Fri. December 15th ~ Doug & Dave ~ acoustic guitars

Between that and touring castle you should have plenty to talk about.

Tell us how it goes....

Learning2Love agony auntSome guys are private and don't like blurting out their personal feelings, sometimes even to friends. I think he likes you cos guys generally try to impress girls with what they can do for them. Just enjoy the time with him and soon you'll find out how he feels for you. Hope all goes your way.

a couple weeks ago, i had the same problem. first he didnt like me, then later when he found out i liked him, slowly he started to like me then we eventually went out. Maybe this will happen to you. most guys try to hide that they like you, but if nothing happens for a while, it just may not be the right guy you were looking for. i know, life sucks, i wish too that anyone you like would ike you back
