A female reader, anonymous, writes (3 January 2012):

As you have started by giving him sex without the headache of a commited relationship, i doubt very much there being anything more as far as he's concerned. Men respect women who demand respect and a relationship before giving them sex. It may sound old fashioned and unliberating to you, but generaly speaking, its the truth.

The best way to find out is to tell him no relationship,no sex. Fwb style set ups dont tend to win mens felings. They have girlfriends for that.

He might do. Dont build your hopes up though, as he's probably keeping you sweet so you will carry on giving him sex without the chores. He's got it all on a plate so i doubt he'll want to change that.

A reader, anonymous, writes (3 January 2012):

Until you have "the talk" you're just FWB's. I tell everyone I love them and call my female friends babe and stuff when I'm drunk.

Until he says so, sober and in a "what are we" talk. You're just FWB's.

A female reader, thinkb4 Papua New Guinea +, writes (3 January 2012):

Some say a drunk mans words are a sober mans thoughts. I am not convinced it is true myself. No one here can answer you really, only he can tell you (when he is sober). Personally I believe if you give a man sex without being in a relationship with him, that is all they will ever want you for. Who knows, he just may defy the odds?

A male reader, anonymous, writes (3 January 2012):

I wouldnt bank on it. Fwb is not a mans idea of a potential partner. They should change the term fwb to bwor (benefits without respect, because in 99.9% of cases, thats exactly what it is.
