I have been single now for a couple of months and have been out most wkends with friends but havent bothered really with men, Two weeks ago I bumped into a guy who I know likes me, he first asked me out about 2 years ago but I was seeing somebody else at the time so nothing became of it, well he asked me for my number and would i be interested in meeting up the following weekend I agreed and we we met up the weekend for a drink in town, but the last few months i have been meeting up with a friends in town and a guy friend of a friend has been texting me and talking to me online and we have met up in a group with others when we are out and I kinda like him though wasnt sure if there was enough of a spark between us and he was just out of a relationship so wasnt into meeting anyone who was on the rebound, well of course the night before I'm supposed to go on the date he texts me and asks me out the following nite, I tell him I'm sorry but I cant I have plans and would but in future to give me further notice, so he suggested that maybe I call over to his place which I pass on as i didnt want him to give him the wrong impression that something would happen with us and Ii would of had to stay the night because he lives far enough away, well the next night I go on my date and all going ok only not a lot in common well I go outside for a smoke and the guy gives me a hug and as I look over my shoulder the other guy is looking at me so I pretend not to see him and leave although I know he has spotted me ..! Well I decide to leave that place and before I do I bump into him and say hi and leave well, I ended up in another club and bumped into friends and we decide to go home in a taxi toghether I say good night to my date and I get a text from the other guy asking if I want to call into the first club for a drink so myself and friend do and he suggest we go back to his house for a drink which we do, but heres were i went wrong my friend decided to leave and get a taxi and I ended up staying and sleeping in his bed though we didn't have sex we kinda fooled around, now I feel he must think im some kind of slut although we have met up loads over last few months and I haven't seen any other men, what must it look like I go on a date and end up back in his place, I don't want to see the other guy again and he knows this we kinda both agreed to leave it as friends no spark but I feel so terrible now, I never sleep around or have casual sex but he must think I'm a slut and I might of ruined a friendship or possible relationship any advice would really be appreciated..!

reader, anonymous, writes (24 November 2008): The important thing is how look upon yourself. What others think of you is of no real consequence and should not have any bearing on how you live your life. What happened in his bedroom if of no concern to anyone but the two of you. If the other guy thinks you're a slut - which I doubt - he's not really a good friend is he?
