Does he still like this girl?

the other day was my mates birthday and I was about to post on his wall when I saw a post by this girl who he swears he doesn't like but talks about her all the time and flirts with her. But she told him she liked him when all his friends were round so coz we were all round he told her he only liked her as a friend which is probebly a lie. So anyway a couple hours later the post disappeared so I ask the girl if she deleted it and she said no and then I ask my mate and he waits for like a couple minutes before saying no. does this mean he likes her/ still likes her? and has us being at his house when the girl told him she liked him ruined it for him???
