writes: i recenlty moved to university, and ive met this boy who also attends here, il jus call him chris, i was chatting to him online 2 weeks befor arriving and we exchanged phone numbers, just so we had a friend when we got here. we went to the beach together once but his friend also came along, chris lost his phone somewhere in the sand so when we got back he gave me his mates number so if i ever needed to speak to him i could reach him on his mates phone, however i didnt like the sound of that just incase his mate woould pretend to be him...so i told him to text me when he gets a new phone !! we saw eachother out a few times and would speak but whenever i got home i was desperate just to text him, anyway, 2 weeks later he text me that hes got a new number and we should meet up again soon, we had a conversation an i casually worked in the question to whether or not he has a girlfriend.....he said ''at the moment yes....but only been with her two months'' he asked me the same, and i said i was single and he said 'a pretty girl like u is single??? well if i was single id definatley be interested" and all we do since that is flirt with eachoher, hes texting me all the time, do u think he really likes me, and if so whats the deal with his girlfirned, should i make a move and see what he does, or wait for him! or just ask him if hes still with her

reader, anonymous, writes (10 October 2008): i would try not to get involved, as it shows he is unfaithful. you wouldn't want this same situation to occur with someone else if you started seeing him. as far as i can tell, he may not be worth the energy. just stick to being friends. or play hard to get, and then you'll be able to tell how he really feels.
