writes: there is this boy in my class and i really like him but i don't know if he notices me in class, cause he doesn't talk to me but on face-book and stuff he talks to me all the time and we talk for hours and he is the first person to start the conversation, and if i am not on he will email me. but in class he glances at me all the time, but he says he has to go back to Korea but he doesn't want to and my friends told him that i liked him and to go out with me but he said no? did he just say that because he didn't want to say yes?and he told me he doesn't date girls because he doesn't know when he has to go back to Korea. should i tell him that i like him? also if he talks to me online and glances at me does he notice me? what should i do?

As a guy who has done similar stuff, (I
m 17, just past your age group the odds are he's at least interested in testing the water. The fact that he initiates the conversation is a good sign of that. You should make an effort to ask him to hang out outside of school, at a party, a movie, local mall or hotspot. If you can't date, at least maybe you guys could be casually together. I was hesitant at first to enter into the relationship I'm currently in because I'm leaving for college this summer, but I found that I really cared about the girl and kind of put that aside to worry about later. Maybe this boy is willing to do the same.
