writes:ok, i like this really shy guy and i've never talked to him. we had a pep assembly that had a kiss and tell game. the football boys would line up and were supposed to guess which volleyball girl kissed them, when actually it was their moms. the guy i like guessed my name and i dont even play volleyball. that night after the football game, i wanted to tell him good job so badly but couldn't do it. he looked at me like he wanted me to come over but i didn't. then before he went into the locker room he opened the door, looked at me one more time then went in. at the dance i told him that i liked him.He said sorry not to make you mad but i like another girl. but he's never talked to this girl. that night he went home and told his mom how badly he felt for telling me that. and he was so nervous because no one has ever said that to him before. he almost started crying. the next morning he told his mom he couldn't stop thinking about it all night and how badly he feels about it. i don't know if he likes me or not. because i do know he likes this girl, but does he like me too? please help

 How do you know he went home and told his mom all of that - or are you just assuming it?
If he was in to you then he would have made his move then when you told him you liked him. Carry on dreaming and find another guy in reality :-)
