writes: To try and keep it short, I need some advice on figuring out if this guy likes me or not. We go to different unis so I've seen him out only a few times, most times have been at clubs when we go with our own group of friends. He is a friend of a friend so i don't know him that well but he strikes me as player.When we talk to each other he always has his hand around my waist, sometimes he even touches my hand and holds onto my fingers for a bit. Few times he's asked me if the guys i've been talking with have been hitting on me, and when guys do start talking to me he will ask me to be careful and he will say that he cares for me and that i can come to him for anything. One time we were walking out of a restaurant with friends, and when it was just me and him, he suddenly wrapped his arms around me and hugged me from behind. He also rubs the top of my head messing up my hair. Thing is, i cannot figure out if he's doing all these things because he likes me, because he's just looking out for me as a friend etc. When we are with other girls he is friendly with them too but he doesn't treat them in the same way/not as touchy with them. Advice please?!

He does like you. But you are right, he is a player. He strikes me as a player too. Far too much. I would pay attention to how he treats you other than just an object he clearly wants to have sex with. You don't want to end up used.
