 Ok so you really like him, relax. You need to talk to him more and maybe get his number. Tell him or make him realize that whatever he did to you years ago no longer bothers you. Once you talk to him more and become close hangout with him. Maybe jokingly suggest that your best friend and his best friend go out and then the 2 of you can go with them on a double date and see what he says. Good luck I know it is hard.
