I don't know if I like him or not but I brushed past him a few times and sort of almost held his hand. Afterwards he bumped into my hand like he was gonna hold it. I don't really need to know the answers. Only to bring up your true logical thoughts. Often, emotions rule our head without questions being raised. The older you get, the more questions you ask before jumping in.
4th question. If the ex is there, what are his intentions? To make his ex jealous? Or are you his romantic interest?
5th question. Why is his ex there at all?
I apologise for brutalising your perception. But, why would a guy flirt with another girl in front of his ex? I am a male, but I am old enough to realise women are not toys and that I can't play with their feelings. Is he old and mature enough to realise this?

I think you have a crush on him and are imagining what you would like to believe is real.
I could be wrong though.
