writes:There is this guy that I kind of like. I kind of think he likes me back, but he gives mixed signals. One day he will always be staring at me and when I look up at him he looks away really fast and pretends to be working or doing something else. When we are in the hallways he will walk by me really fast or he walks with his head down. He also messes with his hair when he sees me. If he is with friends they will hit him or something and he looks at me then looks away really fast. He has this one friend that I don't even know. He is always looking at me and when I walk by he whispers to either this guy or other guys that I don't know. The guy I like won't talk to me. He's had plenty of chances. Even if I say something to him he will say something short and fast and he looks at the ground. If I'm talking to his friends he won't come by us. He sits off to the side by himself until I leave. If they are talking with another girl he has no problem sitting by them. He used to sit in front of me in class and he would always lean back or sit sideways in his chair and lean enough on my desk so that I would see him, but he wasn't too close. He would block the aisle so that I would have to brush up against him to get to my seat. Then one day his friend made a joke about me and then he said he was only kidding. Then I heard the guy I like say yeah you better be. Usually when we leave class I walk behind him and he is always looking back at me and then he walks really slow to the point where he is walking next to me. Today I was in front of him and I usually walk really slow and he could have easily passed me, but he stayed behind me. Some times I can tell he wants to say something to me so bad, but he doesn't even if I talk to him. It's almost the end of the year and I thought that if he really did like me he would've said something by now. To make things worse I am really shy. I'm just looking for some advice. Anyone have an idea on what's up with him? If he does like me wouldn't he have said any thing by now?
