A reader, anonymous, writes (22 June 2008):

If he liked you then, there is a chance he still likes you now.

Also, you already know you can trust him.

However, because you have been bst friends for so long then you might find there are awkward situations in the relationship, but if you feel a certain way about him it should be relatively easy to get over.

I say go for it.

Good Luck

If you like your best friend and wanta bf then I think you should go for your friend!!!

If he liked you in the past, I bet he still likes you! He might just not make it obvious as he prob thinks you dont like him.

If your friendship is strong and hes a good person, you telling him how you feel wont ruin it at all. If on the odd chance he doesnt have feelings for you still, I doubt he will hate you or stop being your friend, he will probably just take it as a compliment.

So give him a go, tell him how you feel, or ask him how he feels. good luck! :)
