(we're both 16 now). Now we basically talk every night and even though he lives in a different country, I've just realised how much I like him again, more than I have ever liked a guy before. We can stay up for hours talking and when I have to go he sometimes pulls a fake tantrum to get me to stay. I invited him to come back for my senior formal and he said yes, but then he had to cancel due to a pre-booked holiday and when he told me he sounded really upset. We still kept talking though and everything went back to normal, but today he told me that whenever I go to Spain, I'm free to come and stay at his house.Even though he lives in a different country and we haven't seen each other in person for 3/4 years. Do you think he likes me???

Yeah I do think that he likes you, but that doesn't mean anything is going to happen between the both of you. There is a lot of distance between the both of you so I don't think anything long term could work between the both of you unless one of you made a huge commitment and move. Enjoy the relationship you have with him at the moment, but don't expect to much from it or you may get hurt.
