I'm more experienced than my boyfriend, and his ex girlfriend keeps bugging him and telling him I'm a whore, and I think she is trying to get him back, he wants to still be with me, and I don't know if he likes me for me or for what he has heard about me?

A female reader, chigirl Norway +, writes (19 June 2010):

chigirl agony auntYou don't know him too well do you? How long have you been together? Get to know the guy better, that is all I can say. If you know him better you will see if he truly likes you or not. Don't get too emotionally involved until you can trust his intentions to be honest.

person12345 agony auntYou think he likes you because he heard you slept around? I don't think so. Lots of guys feel really insecure about their girlfriend's number. If he's really a boyfriend, rather than a hook up, he's definitely ignoring the ex calling you a whore and he's with you for YOU. Besides, they broke up for a reason. Given her anger at you, I'd guess he dumped her, maybe because she liked to go around calling other people's girlfriends whores? Don't worry, he's not going to listen to her, he likes you.
