 If your boyfriend is genuinely depressed then I very much doubt whether it's about you, you might be taking it too personally.
He needs to get medical help whether thats having some sort of therapy or medication.
You also need to talk to him and ask him whats going on. I know it's frustrating and your feeling insecure with the way he's acting right now, but if you are doubting your relationship he will think your doubting him and he probably thinks your not interested in him anymore.
Get him to the doctors, talk through whats worrying him and reasure him that your still there for him.
And hopefully you can get him back on track.
