writes: hi,well i'm new here but have started seeing someone in the past 3 months,we both have been badly hurt in the past,neither one of us have been in a realationship in almost 2 years,his ex cheated on him and plays mind games with him regarding his kids,he felt he'd never get involved ever again,the thing is we get on great together but he seems to disappear under a rock for days with no contact, he does work long hours but i just wondered do any of you guys think he just needs some space to get his head together ???

Just support him and be there for him. Don't pressurize him into talking or anything. He will start to trust you more and open up to you. Be patient, support him and be there.
