 Have you had sex yet? Does he date other women or does he spend all his free time with you? I'd say, if you want to know, then ask him how he feels about you and if he sees the two of you as good friends, or romantic partners?

It seems he has changed his mannerism toward you is it possible that he has become totally comfortable in your presence rather like a sister. If you really like him and want your realtionship to step up a pace test the waters. Ask him when hes alone if he feels closer to you within the past months..If thats the case ask him if he would consider going out together on your own rather than with a group of friends. If its meant to happen it will but remember you will always have that special friendship if it doesnt
