Hi - I usually shave all my pubic hair off but it's got to the point that after I've shaved it off, it starts to grow back within a couple of days. I was thinking of maybe getting a brazilian next time and was wanting some information. Do they hurt as much as they look like they do? How long do they usually last before the hair grows again and do they last longer than just shaving? Do you have to go to a salon for it, or can you just do it at home? Thanks. x

yes it hurts. alot. it was worse than i imagined it to be. sorry im not helping lol. but once the first time's over, the next time wouldnt be as bad. i've been waxing myself for more than a year now, and it doesnt really hurt anymore. you don't need to go to a professional (i didn't) the first time you do it, but in my opinion, i think its BEST that you do get it done professionally for your first time. afterwards you should just be able to do it yourself. its heaps cheaper that way, and the results are still really good. don't get non-water soluble wax, i learnt that the hard way. if it doesnt come off the first time round, its stuck there for a while and you literally have to scrap it off =S err just thinking about it makes me cringe lol. get a sugar wax...NADS has a really good range.

hope i helped :) its truly worth doing

lexilou agony auntWe alll have different pain thresholds. I use to wax myself, not fun but not overly painful BUT I occasionally reacted badly and came out in red lumps. I find the best thing for me is depilitory (scuse my spelling) creams as they remove what I need but dont have any effect on my skin.

So try a wax and see how it is, it hurts for about 2 seconds for me and then its over with!! x

aphexinfinite agony auntok..when it comes to waxing all people hurt differently ie someone might find the legs more painful than an eye wax so forth.. but i know a few people who have found it REALLY sore but if in doubt give it a try i would say it wouldnt hurt but it might lol..it usually lasts 3 weeks.. you do get some to use at home but for proper and profeshional would make it less painful as they would be at an advantage point to do it for you.. hope that helps aphexy xx
