I know this isn't a relationship or love question but I thought I could get some accurate responses on here. So when you chew gum does it make your teeth yellow? Because I just can't seem to keep my teeth white. I whiten them every once and a while and then they always end up going back to how they were. I chew gum every day of my life. But I take care of my teeth and brush daily. So would the gum have anything to do with it? And also does Trident White gum really help? Or what kind could I chew and it wont affect the whiteness? Thanks.

Actually, chewing gum cleans your teeth, helps prevent cavities and strengthens your jaw,I do not know if the gum you asked about works.

Hi hun!

No chewing gum should not make your teeth yellow although the super sugary ones can cause cavities!

Drinking any dark drink will turn them yellow! That means, soda, tea,and coffee. Smoking will also cause your teeth to yellow!

Don't try to do at home whitenning too much. It can actually cause sensitivity and can burn your gums and cause them to recede or pull back from your teeth.

The best thing that I have found is to, one, make sure you brush after every meal if possible. This will get rid of bacteria causing plaque. If you can't brush chew a piece of any whitenning gum. I like orbit. It slows the plaque build up also. You can use a pre brush white rinse then brush your teeth with a whitening toothpaste and make sure you rinse with mouthwash after wards. Flossing will help the stains in between the teeth. My husband smokes and uses the pre brush white rinse and his teeth are very white!

Good luck babe!
