writes:help, my dad has been having court because of a big misunderstanding, a neighber called the cops on him because they heard my parents arguing and when the cops arrived they saw my mom crying and my dad was drunk so now they wanna take my dad away from us but my mom, siblings and i dont want that to happen, so he has to pass an alcohol [blood or pist] test. they say that if they find alcohol in his system he will have a restraining order against him. i need help please, does anyone know any home remedies to pass an alcoho test. THANXXX IN ADVANCE, YOUR HELP WILL MEAN SO MUCH TOOO ME!!!!!

reader, anonymous, writes (6 August 2008): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questiontanx you guys, oh and my it wasnt only an arguement my dad tryed choking my mom and slamed her to the wall, one of my younger siblings told the cops when they were here and my dad also admited that to the cops, im sorry i ddnt explain it very well but its just that i have alot on my mind. but yea i live in california and the city`s county were i live in is very strict, for example: if they ever see teenagers out in the streets after 9 o`clock they tell you to hop in and they'll drive you home. its odd i know but thats all i can say. tanxx again and i know my dad wont ever drink again because he had never gottn really really drunk before. Tanxx again you guys for your addvice!

reader, anonymous, writes (6 August 2008): Wait a minute, something is wrong with this picture. Your mom and dad were having a loud argument. He was drunk and she was crying. I assume that he never hit her during this argument, since you say nothing about this. If she is not pressing abuse charges and asking for a restraining order and he did not physically abuse her, I see no way that the police can take him away from his family. If this were the case, then there would be very few intact families left in this country. There has to be more to this story than what you say. A lot of people get drunk and argue every day. Not that I am saying that is OK to do, but it is not sufficient for the police to split up a family.

 it sounds very strange that they will put a restraining order against him without your mother asking for it. ive never heard of that being done before. as far as i know, if he didnt hurt your mum, and she explains that everything is fine, they cant really drag him away!! it sounds very odd.
as for passing the test, water and lots of it!! and a hearty meal too. can you email me and let me know wat state your in and stuff? id like to do a bit of research about this and see what the specifics are.

best option is to try and clear his system out by drinkin water by the bucket load! not litterally ovsiously. lol
im sure if you explained everything, it was just a row and that nothing had actually happened then they would understand, your mum would have to press charges for him to be taken away so im sure everything would be okay anyway :)
