The deal is my next shot is on August 29th (you get the shot every 3 months) your not to get your period on this shot and its it july 25th and I'm on my period STILL. I've been on it for 6 days now, Along with that I've been getting this strange odor leaking into my underwear that I have not smelled before... will anyone that knows what they are talking about give me advice or something.. Appreciate it!

fallingapart3 is verified as being by the original poster of the question Implanon? Does it stop your period as well? I've never heard of it give me more details please...

hi sweetie, i've been on depo provera before. i had the first shot and my periods did stop totally (woop woop), i had my second shot and i just had a little light bleeding around the normal menstrual time so it was ok. the third shot however i bled for the full 3months. i ended up anaemic and so came off it. i had the implant instead after that (called implanon i think)it lasts years and is amazing so maybe u should try that? hope this helps. xxxxx
