beentheredonethat agony auntNo I personally have not been one.

You move a lot...you live in base housing which is sometimes great...and sometimes shabby. There is a huge amount of political crap among the wives..whose husband is what rank and any officers wife that ranks higher than you...will probably want to control you as well...You will make the greatest friends in your life..then have to move away from them...WHEN ever they feel like telling you to. Then one day you will move back and there they will be again...but in the mean time you have left other friends. Your children may resent the constant moving...dad being gone a lot..and if he dies...you don't have long to vacate the housing. still you will always have help close at hand...you have an instant group of friends every time you move...everyone around you understands what your going through...cause they are Tooo.

Is that what you were wanting?
