I think friction plays a big part in making a man cum early in sex. So in some cases it all depends on how tight the girls vagina is. In my early days, girls tended to be quite tight and I wouldnt last too long. But if you have been having sex for quite a while with the same partner the vagina expands quite a bit and loses a lot of friction ( it does with my lady anyway ) so for me it is the female body which does it, the caressing, the hot words of encouragement all get me to the point of no return.

Yes, my dear... I agree with the Sandman,
I think that it all comes down to the friction. As for how he gets to that big "O", it really just depends what position you're in to determine who is controlling the action. For instance, if it's doggy style and he's thrusting - then I would say that he is the one using the woman's body to give himself an orgasm.
However, say that you're on top and you're the one working it. Then you're using your body to make him (and yourself. Never forget about YOUR pleasure, girlfriend) cum.
Really, you need to start finding ways to get into sex. Sure he can cum by himself, but get into it girl! Get frisky! And, make sure that he's giving you the proper attention... don't get the short end of the stick in that department!
Hope that helps, sweetness.

Unlike women, men are almost purely physically turned on. Men are like like bottles of coke... shake it up and wait till it explodes! (: hope this explains x

I would say it's neither one: most men cum or reach orgasm simply through the friction of the penis moving in and out of the vagina.
So the woman wouldn't have to do anything - she could just lie there while he pumps away - him doing all the work. The guy doesn't have to do anything either; he could lie on his back while she is on top - with her doing all the work.
So it doesn't matter who's doing the work, as long as there is friction going on, the man will experience ejaculation*.
* As long as there isn't some type of medical or psychological issue that renders the man unable to reach orgasm or has increased difficulty reaching orgasm.
Hope this helps.
