Does a circumsised penis feel any different during sex to an uncircumsised penis for the man or woman?

Does a circumsised penis feel any different during sex to an uncircumsised penis for the man or woman? Is it unusual for someone to have the snip for the sake of prefering the way it looks? I'm uncircumsised and I'm happy with my penis when erect but when it's flacid my foreskin makes it look a bit pointy and it makes me feel self conscious. How do I get it circumsised?

Dear Poster

I agree with some of the others; it is a matter of personal choice. To lots of women it might not even matter or not make any difference.

You should consult your doctor who can arrange the operation for you. It is a very small procedure. You go into hospital in the morning and normally, unless there are complications, you are released in the late afternoon.

You will not be able to be sexually active for a few weeks, but I think, from what I have heard and read, that is about the worst part of the operation.

Maybe there is some guys on the site that had the operation done that could give you better input.

I think it is a matter of personal choice and preference.

When I was dating, that was of great concern to me.I was often worried, what if... specially if I liked the guy and thought it might develop into more. I eventually learnt to discover "that secret" very diplomaticly and tactfully, and saved myself lots of embarrassng moments.

I prefer circumcised, specially for oral sex. I cannot imagine doing it with sombody who is not circumcised. The thought gives me the..."creeps". I dont like the look of it uncircumcised.

I have been very fortunate or "selected" carefully, but then I meet this great guy who was not circumcised. He is my husband today, but needless to say, he was circumcised before we got married. (unfortunately had to, otherwise our sex life would have been a problem).

BigSis agony auntHey, have you realised yet - you're a 'female'? Slight glitch there, thought I'd let you know.

I don't know if uncircumcised feels different, never had the pleasure. But will find out one day, and hopefully soon, then I'll give you my opinion, until then, I'll go and find another question to answer.

Sorry I can't help,

BigSis

{Silly Sis...should've just stayed off this one, me thinks}

My last boyfriend was circumsised and I can tell you that having sex with him felt no different to having sex with a uncircummsised man. I dont know whether it actually feels different for the guys tho.....The only thing I like about about a cicumsised male is that its cleaner and I prefer to give them oral sex than to an uncircumsised male.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (26 October 2008):

Doesn't feel any different from what I've been told.

The only reason to get circumcised at all (and medically speaking, the chance of infection is slightly higher with foreskin, but if shower regularly, even that is a moot point) is for religious reasons or if you have that thing where the foreskin is too small for the penis, meaning it won;t pull back upon erection and cause intense pain.

Do you really want to have someone taking to your little man with a scapel?

Not for me. I like my cock undamaged, thanks.
