My problem is that: a)I have an issue with exposing certain parts of my body to ANYBODY and I don't want doctors seeing this even though they're trying to help me.and b)I have this fear that if i go to the doctor to figure out one thing, their gonna end up finding something else way worse than what i thought. Can anybody help me overcome these fears? Any words of advice will be nice. Thanks :)

If you haven't already, do a little research online. You might have a food allergy, lactose intolerance, IBS...to name but a few tummy problems. As for the period problems, again you could do some research online, you might just be one of the unlucky ones who have horrible periods but usually I think these to calm down as you grow...When I was 19 I had terrible periods, very heavy and horrendous PMT, my GP put me on the contraceptive pill to calm it all down and it worked a treat, I was only on the Pill for a year.
As for being embarassed, it's pretty natural but unfortunately something you will have to, at some point, grit your teeth and bear. I used to be unbearably shy about stuff like that, the thought of going for my first smear test had me in a cold sweat for weeks before! But these people do it every day, it's nothing new for them...Send me an email and I'll tell you a few tips that got me through it xx

Please listen to your mother and go get it checked out. whatever it is , if cought early, it can most likely be treated, if left untrated however............Doctors are professionals that look at those body parts all the time. to them its not sexual at all, its like a mechanic looking at an engine, you are a client to them not a sexual person. its ok, honest;y i used to feel the same way. when they examine you just space out, think about something else and just let them look around. Honey, if its nothing thats fantastic! but if its something, even a litle yhing, you really should get treated.Perhaps a female doctor might help, thats what i did, i found myself a female gyno and 10yrs later i still have her. Go get it checked out hun, you need peace of mind that either you are ok oe that they are fixing the problem. PLEASE GO
