A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Ok i'm not too sure how to explain but i've got myself into a bit of a quandry. I am bisexual, not out yet, and have recently met the most fantastic girl online. Literally there is hardly a minute when we're awake that we're not nattering away about anything. I am going to see her at Christmas and we'll see where things go. She is bisexual but has never been with a girl before. This is not the issue for me, the issue is i think she thinks i am way more experienced than i am. the reason for this is because i told her i have had 2 girlfriends in the past, which is completely true, i dated then for 2 and 3 months respectively. The only thing is i have never slept with a girl but we haven't even approached this subject. For me sex is special and I don't want to have it with someone unless i am completely sure. With the 2 girlfriends, i never was ready and they accepted that. Do you think that this will scare her off? I'm really worried cos i don't want to lose her? i'm not entirely sure if this makes sense but any help will be much appreciated. Thanks x

A female reader, aunt honesty Ireland +, writes (11 November 2010):

aunt honesty agony auntno it shouldnt scare her off in fact it should make her realise that sex to you is something special and you dont just sleep around with people, good for you, this is something to be proud about its not something to frown about. You havent told her you have had sex so dont be worrying yes you dated two girls this doesnt mean that you are experieced with sex. not at al. if you do decide to share yourself with this girl then it will make it more special that it is both of yours first time and just take things as it comes naturally, just enjoy yourselfs and dont worry.
