Do you think something is up with this unusual lodger?

i need some help and its not the usual stuff. i had to take on a lodger, i got contacted and put someone up and he moved in on the monday for 3 wks, the 1st day (mon) he gave me the rent, he went home on the fri came back on the sun and then didnt give me rent until the thurs, which was short. he left on the fri and i expected to see him on the sun, sun came and went then monday he told me someone should have had his bed at mine. this was no part of the agreement at all. he returned 1 45 am wed morning banging and crashing around, he says he is leaving by fri morn but i know im being short changed with the rent. my mates say he is a good guy cause he worships god and has a bible but i think he is a chancer, he told me he has been introduced to a woman who he likes, but today as i write this he said he is getting married. when i asked him he said that 'how can she turn me down she dont know me' he seems to be moving all the time and i dont know if there is anything up with him please advise me

I agree with aunt bim bim, I think you need to just cut your losses pack any of his stuff that he may have at yours left and let him know that the room is taken..

If he gets annoyed then phone the police, his behaviour is very bizarre and I would consider that either he is on something or has a mental disorder in both cases be very careful..

Aunty BimBim agony auntHe sounds a little odd, tell him the room is no longer available. If you need to take in a lodger for financial reasons look online and see if there are any templates you can use for a rental agreement. I would also be asking for two references, and maybe even a police clearance.
