A male Canada age 36-40, *ood to be innocenct writes:

hi there, i am a 23 years old virgin never have a gf in my life, i love women but for the reason which i don't they know, and sadly, they have never entered in to my life. i have been with this girl for more than a year, we have been very close, we are working in the same office, we begin it as coworker, then our relationship grew to a more intimate one, we used to talk about life, her relationship, almost every detail of her life.i used to inspire her, i used to give her advises when she feel down, but in the mean time, i was maintaining my space i mean i don't act like what her friends act, we don't go out regularly, we have drinks rarely, i even i didn't go to her home which is nearby our office,i did this because i though it would give her comfort because i saw that her friends (both male and female friends) were depriving of her freedom so giving her space would comforts her.

i have a good feeling for her, i know that there is a sort of speciality in her, but i have been restraining my self from feeling beyond friendship because She told me that she is spending some time with a guy which she said she have no feeling for, they were friend but later he developed a feeling and they become together even though she doesn't have a feeling for him, through their relationship he has been doing things which pissed her off, really disappointing stuffs. she always tell me that there is no future in them. But recently she moved to another town due to field work and lately i am developing a kind of feeling which i never felt for her, like constantly missing her, getting nervous when we talk through phone, she is also getting nervous when we talk,...she told me that she have a good feeling for me, she had been talking about me with her friends including her boyfriend which they told me that she thinks of me as the best person she ever met, she text me two times saying that 'i am a gift for her that god is compensating her for the time she lost is searching for people like me that i am giving her care more than, let alone her friends, but also her family'.

Actually i have been good for her i have been there for her in times of happiness and sorrow, but i am confused whether she thinks of me as friend or beyond, i am sure that i have a feeling for her, but not sure about her, she is spending time with a guy, but what if i deeply fall for her i know i would be hurt, but what would be my last destiny? or is there a possibility that she may be feeling for me even though she is having an affair with another guy?

A male reader, deafguy United Kingdom +, writes (17 August 2009):

If you want to be with her, you tell her how you feel directly - rather than being guess if she do or do not - waste time.

If she can be able with you, make sure there is no complications like if she is still with other guys... make sure all is clear then enter in the relationship.

If it is too complex, perhaps wait (also it might be too late).
