writes: Hello ladies and gentlemenI have a weird question. How much does guitar playing affect in attracting females? I am a guitarist and I can shred, strum, sing and play ANY song. I compose my own music and cover many rock songs.I have been single for 2 years now and I have been rejected by a lot of girls because of my foreign accent and average looks. I was in a serious relationship in which I was the honest one looking to give care and love and she left me for another guy. I stayed very depressed these 2 years because there was no one to tell me that I am loveable and wanted. No one took the time to accept my heart. Therefore I picked up my guitar again to heal myself and to use music to express my loneliness. Doing so, I got really faster and better in playing. I get a lot of views and comments on facebook and youtube.I am very educated, have a built physique, have a great job as an IT engineer and I have qualities that are appreciated in books but are ignored in the real world i.e being really caring, honest, affectionate, loving, ambitious, never cheat/lie and a one woman man/need only one girl to love me.So do you think my guitar playing can play a role in attracting someone who will get the time to know me and love my qualities without paying attention to my average looks and Non-American accent?

I love musicians and I've never been with a person who wasn't a musician. I would never be with someone who doesn't love music. However after ten years my hubby doesnt play anymore and it make me more sad then him. I bought him a new guitar and have been encouraging him but he's just moved on and gotten bored with music. So my advice is if u want to attract her with music then u better stick with it!

Back when I was in my late teens and early 20s, I was a mechanic at a Chevy dealership.... Whilest there, I often pondered to myself: "Does my ability to do a great tune-up on a Chevy 327 V-8 engine play a role in attracting a woman who will love me for the rest of my life?"
That question made as much sense to me - then - as your question probably makes to you - now.....
Good luck....

Hi
If a woman likes music is the artistic type, even plays an instrument herself or sings it will help you..that way its something you have in common to build on.
Maybe start a band and advertise for people to join, or look for adverts where people need a guitar player, even go solo.Theres something about a man on stage playing and you would be out and about and even attract 'fans'.

Haven't you heard of that very old saying - 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder'? When a woman falls in love with you, she will think that you gorgeous, that is the nature of love. All of the traits that you believe that you have, will attract the perfect mate for you. Your ability to play the guitar, will most certainly make you appealing in a romantic way to right woman. Relax and be yourself, and when the time is right, everything will fall into place.
