I know my doctor rubs my legs or shoulders to reassure me when I go to see him...because when I get sick..i get really sick. He touches my shoulders too when I leave, and he even gave me his cell number, and I've only seen him for a couple of months. But you shouldn't worry too much. He might just be a really, really nice guy. Change doctors though if you're really worried or feel like you're going to pounce on him. Hope this helps =)

I think your doctor is inappropriate and a touchy feely kind of guy.. Pretty creepy for a family physician..

No, I think that you are reading far too much into his actions. If you feel uncomfortable with the way he treats you, rather change your doctor. It is unethical for a doctor to date his patients, and if this dr was interested in you he would have asked you to find another dr so that he could date you.Honeygirl

No, those are very innocuous gestures, that could easily be interpreted as him being nice. On the other hand, do you like him? Is he single? If the answer to both of those questions is yes, then you could get a different doctor and maybe try to pursue him a little. Do you many other things about him? Hopefully you do. Either way, it might be a good idea to get a new doctor. There shouldn't be any kind of sexual thoughts/feelings going on while your doctor is examining you. It makes things weird, and makes you less likely to be truthful. Regardless of what porn tells us, it would not actually be awesome to be hit on by your doctor/nurse. The basis of the relationship is trust, and that would destroy it. Good luck!
