A female reader, kaylagal United States +, writes (11 April 2009):

kaylagal agony auntI'm reading a lot out of your stories, more than what you've written. You've tried to let go and you can't. There's a reason why you've tried to let go. You ask is he still in love with her - he was with her for 2yrs, he is cranky when he's without her, and he has all these unexplained behaviours.

It's clear to me and to you that he's still in love with the other girl. Sounds like they have their problems and he would rather be with her. You, however, are maybe a rebound or that girl he's with just so he can't be alone. You don't deserve that. You deserve a guy who is only for you and who is madly in love with you.

I know you're having a hard time letting him go but you have to. If you don't you will only fall deeper and get hurt even more. The sooner you let go the better so you can move on with your life.

There is a good guy out there for you but you have to let this one go first.

Good Luck.

K.
