I used to think that he liked me because he tried to impress me, make me laugh, etc. The main way I could tell was that I would catch him staring at me all the time. Anyway I really liked him back but lately he's been ignoring me. We're on the same swim team and we used to swim in the same lane. He would tease me all the time and laugh and it was loads of fun. In the past couple of days though he's been swimming in the next lane over and flirting with this junior non-stop. In the back of my head I'm hoping he's trying to make me jealous, but it still really upsets me. I had convinced myself that he stopped liking me and so I had to stop liking him, and that had worked until about an hour ago. I just got home from a swim team party, and basically the whole time, I was hanging out with some of my best guy friends. At one point I glanced over his way and there he was, just staring at me. A few other times tonight I caught him staring at me, and now I'm just really confused. Do you think he likes me or not? If so, should I approach him about it or say anything?

He might br trying to put himself out there so you notice him, and not getting a very positive response back. The swimming lane thing, definately an attention grabber, jealousy ploy. I would try and be a little more positive towards his advances...like when he is stariing at you smile at him. Its harmless after all. Take some initiative a nd jump in there bdore its too late and he might start losing interest. Go for it and good luck !!! :)
