Do you think he has feelings for me? Or am I reading into it too much?

A female age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I am in love with this guy and I dont have the courage to tell him. Before, I used to be able to call/text him without hesitation, but now i always think twice. Does it mean that I dont have feelings for him anymore, or is it im just too emotionally involved as I scared that he may not reply, so suffer the pain of rejection.

I dont know how he feels. If he does have feelings for me, I dont want him to think that I dont care because I dont contact him as much as I used too.

But when we do speak after a long time, its great, we flirt and say things to each other, that makes it difficult to reply. I have said to him many times 'what would you do without me' but laughing at same time. He has replied saying, 'dont make me answer that'.

He calls me 'hun' in a text or an email but has never said it to me whilst speaking to me. He once called me 'sweetie' but he didnt act any reaction from me, so he called me it again.

When we do see each other, it has only ever been for about 5mins. And then he is not the same person, he is on the phone.

Do you think he has feelings for me? Or am I reading into it too much?

You have only seen this person for 5 minute periods and the rest of your relationship is by phone? Wow, technology has really become insidious when people start using it to substitute for a real live relationship.

This guy is siply enjoying flirting with you without the possibility of rejection by actually showing up for the real thing....forget about him and move on to a real live boy.

Ordinarygal agony auntHe does sound keen/confused! Give it time and see how it goes. Text talk it completely different from 'real life'. We can all be someone else when talking in text, much different face to face x

cd206 agony auntWell I do have platonic friends who call me sweetie and hun. Unfortunately the only thing to do here is take a chance and ask him how he feels.
