And to make the discussion even more interesting, does anyone get turned on by it? I heard that people can supposedly orgasm from it too. Haven't had that happen yet.

Yes, I have an endearing memory of my first girlfriend having an orgasm as I gently rubbed her feet, it was great!! My wife unfortunately hates it and kicked me so hard when I tried it with her that I wanted a divorce. So use with caution!!

I am very ticklish, I love being tickled especially my neck and top of chest (part near near neck) and feet. sometimes it feels too much but I still enjoy being tickled, occasionally if I am lucky my (very clever) cat will tickle my neck with her tail while lying next to me on the pillow which is great

We feel unpleasant sensations when we are tickled because it's our body's way of defending itself from "intruders." it looks like we are drowning in laughter and having a super time but , in reality, it feels horrible.

If 'tickling' is jabbing fingers roughly into someone else's side, stomach, or armpits...that is a turnoff. If the 'tickling' is a gentle, soft, touch that moves the fingertips or fingernails over areas of another's body that are rich in sensitive nerve endings...then it can be sensual, but it ultimately depends on the people involved.Because i was gently tickled on my back and feet as a child by my mother (it was the only way i would calm down and lie still to take a nap), and because myself and my sibilings continued to tickle one another in this fashion until we were teens...the action is soothing and comforting...but not sexual. I can see how it could feel good in a way that could be sexual, but it is too familial for me to be able to experience any sexual arousal from this type of tickling. In fact, when my fiance tickles me like this, i just lie still and start to drift off to sleep. It is very soothing. Finally, i have sensory issues, anxiety, and severe adhd...My experiences fall into a sort of unique 'doesn't apply to most people' category. It is only fair that you are aware that i'm different from most people when reading my answer.

If you were to tickle me, ESPECIALLY my feet...I would kick you in the face.

if you tickled me (especially my feet) I would HURT YOU... especially if I said STOP and you did not.
Did you know that tickling is a form of torture???

I am ticklish and when people tickle me it makes me really angry. Because I'm laughing when I say "stop it, I hate being tickled" they think I'm kidding, so it's really hard to make people stop. Everyone who is ticklish that I know hates it as well. Tickling is the opposite of a turn on for me, where have you heard of people orgasming from it? You like doing the tickling, but do you like being tickled? I can see where the fun is in doing it, the person LOOKS like they're having a blast, laughing and such, but it's generally really unfun to be on the other end of it.
