Nothing is truly 100%. But the VAST majority of the time this comes up is because it's being used as an excuse. It's a hell of a lot more likely that someone just told a lie or forgot something.

Nothing is 100% but it is fairly uncommon for a man who has had a vasectomy to get a woman pregnant. Sometimes,if the vessels are cut they can re-attach and create a passage for sperm to come through. But it's pretty rare. If either of you are worried, then he should have a sperm count. That will tell you for sure.

Its 3 months from the op to getting the all clear. My husband had one over 4 years ago and a couple of friends of ours have had them since. As long as they are performed correctly then they are a permanenet method of contraceception. Vasectomies rarely fail, look at the statistics.

I may be making a huge leap here, but if some guy is stringing you a line telling you that he doesn't need to wear a condom because he's had a vasectomy, it's a lie. It's the same kind of line as a married guy saying that his wife doesn't understand him! Use a condom!
On the other hand, if you are serious about the consequences of a vasectomy, you need to bring in a ejaculation sample a month After a vasectomy in order to be given the all clear. Once that is established, it's incredibly rare to get pregnant, although I believe there have been rare instances of the vas deferens (the tube that is cut in a vasectomy) growing back together called recannalisation. Very rare. 1% chance. Hope this helped.

As long as you wait until your partner has the all clear, which involves your partner providing semen samples, the first is normally carried out a few weeks after the op,a 2nd is then tested and if this is also negative you will then receive a letter confirming your partner to be sterile. It is very important that until you are given the all clear that you use contraception as sperm can be present for a while after the vasectomy. I believe there have been cases where people have thought they were safe as soon as the op was done, and this has resulted in them falling pregnant. Your GP will advise you anyway.

Yes there is a chance you could. As sometimes vasectomies dont always work 100% But it is very unlikely though
