A reader, anonymous, writes (29 April 2009):

I don't think that just because you have these kinds of dreams it means you are a lesbian. A lot of straight women have dreams like these, and some women even have sexual fantasies where they are with other women. But it doesn't mean they are a lesbian, they may like these fantasies and find them a turn on, but only want men in real life.

Have you ever been curious into what a relationship with a woman would be like though? If this is something you have thought about before, then maybe you have some confusion over your sexuality, and it is getting your attention through your dreams.

How do you feel about your dream? Okay, disgusted, turned-on, curious, etc? Your dream about your mom hitting you suggests that maybe part of you feels bad for your dream.

If you are confused about your sexuality, then maybe this is what the dreams are about. But there is absolutely nothing wrong with having these feelings, you just need to work through them and find what is right for you.

But as I said before, if you have never given this any thought before and it is out of the blue, then it probably really is just a dream. I think we all know how bizarre dreams can be sometimes! I hope this helps. x
