Sure, there are some conventionally attractive people, but I have witnessed plenty of happily married men and women who do not fit that mold.Look for someone who loves you and, rich or poor, you will be happy. That person is out there waiting for a girl like you. You might be surprised at your prospects. Don't give up!

 I think it's foolish not to accept that the whole world is based on looks, but looks alone don't cut it anymore and half of being good looking is about how you feel.Doesn't matter who you are and how good looking you are, if you feel like crap you will look like crap, and confidence is key.Todays world class beautiful people has ugly because you don't meet the plastic look requirement, nonsense to me, it seems when you aren't blessed with those jaw dropping looks life ask you to work alot harder to reach the same level as others, but that gives an advantage, the experience and knowledge gained from that is priceless later on when you get older and truly determine how happy you are in life.I don't think only pretty girls get to have it all, infact "ugly" is a very strong word and often way over used. I find my girlfriend the most beautiful woman in the world, to me she is just stunning, yet others may say she's very average and nothing special, everyone has their own taste.Most "pretty" girls aren't as pretty as you may think, they are like a Ferrari car, it doesn't matter if a ferrari is ugly because everyone will think and say it's looks amazing because it's a ferrari, that's what men think about pretty girls, they are suppose to accept that "pretty" girls are pretty because they are those kind of girls.I hope you do understand that most men don't actually WANT those kind of girls, it's the idea of it that's appealing, not the actual thing, men like real women! don't get trapped in the media idea of what beauty is, it will destroy anyone regardless of looks because by those standard no one is ever good enough

reader, anonymous, writes (23 August 2011): what are you talking about ? hear me out , im a young beautiful woman who has everything in life a girl could ever wish for ,but i still didn't get love ,what im trying to tell you is you dont get everything in life but you will eventually find the person that you would spend ur life with and why are you worried about marriage ,c'mon your still young you've got your whole life ahead of you ..and you're not ugly no matter what you think .im sure you're a very nice beautiful girl ... get that crazy thought out of your head so you would live well . and dont be envies it will drag u down and ruin ur life just be optimistic and always think that everything shall come at the right time and enjoy life
